It’s not enough to just be able to articulate a phoneme in isolation. Our ultimate goal is to integrate these phonemes back into the flow of speech, and this is where things can get even more challenging. This is where the drills below come in handy. They are designed to make the physical aspect of phoneme articulation in context more automatic and effortless. If you’ve identified any phonemes or phoneme combinations that are tricky for you, try to apply one of these drills to it. Just 5 minutes of focused drilling can save you a lot of problems down the line, when you’re no longer tripping over certain sounds.
